No running. No jumping. No flotation devices. There was a long, drawn-out attempt at a conversation between a Spanish-speaking family and pool staff about the ban on floatation cuffs. Google Translate would have helped. I tried. It was awkward.
We were allowed to bring our bags inside the fence and leave them on the deck, which is concrete and was quite empty when we visited.

When I was a kid, I remember there was a 9-foot deep end to this pool but now the deep part is in the center at 6 feet.
Other than filling in the deep end and changing the shape of the bottom of the pool, this looks remarkably unchanged from my childhood.
I did not notice any stairs for accessibility.
As I recall from my youth, there is a restroom in the rec center to change if you need to. But we did not visit the rec center; there were not doors open to the building from the pool deck on July 4.
They sometimes have fireworks at this rec center. There also appears to be a skate rink that I don’t remember from my time in this neighborhood.
