Wow. This was always an awesome pool but it’s exponentially more awesome than it was when I lived in the neighborhood from 1990 to 1993.
How many ways do I love this pool now?
Awesome spray garden/waterpark next to pool.
Multiple sets of stairs with handrails to enter/exit in addition to ladders.
Working wheelchair lift!
Very comfortable cool water temperature.

Waterslides, which I’ve never seen in a Philly public pool before (or since) are a unique offering at this pool–though they were closed today due to lifeguard shortage. I was informed by lifeguard on duty that adults are allowed on the slide (yesssssss)!
Bags and belongings are stored in provided shelving/crates inside the pool area, which is also new since I last visited the pool a couple decades ago.
Porta pots for changing/toilet near pool entrance.
