All recreation center activities including swimming have moved to Gathers Recreation Center several blocks south and west.

Another abandoned pool with steps (but no handrails). Not even a splash pad on this rather neglected-looking campus, which appears to be largely non-functional, behind Murrell Dobbins High School. There were some kids on the playground, but it did not appear to be an organized summer camp/group but rather a couple of pairs of children on their own. The rec center doors were locked tight. City site indicates this is closed for the 2024 season.
