I’m glad I decided to stop by every pool on the Department of Parks and Recreation’s list –even the ones listed as closed — because I thought I was going to take a picture of an empty shell here but instead found a fully functional and quite lovely community pool.
I was able to jump in just minutes before swim team practice began.
I was allowed to bring my belongings inside the pool area and leave them at the fence.
There was no seating, and only ladders to get in and out of the pool — no stairs it appears, not even in the shallow/tot section, which was roped off.
