No stairs required for entry to pool deck
No personal belongings allowed inside pool deck (they must be left outside of fence)
Not strict on dress code

Hancock is a colorful and modernized playground with a medium-large rectangular pool.
#MyPhillyPoolTour2024 officially began here on July 3 when I visited with an old friend who lives in the neighborhood. We practically had the entire pool to ourselves.
It would be nice for swimming laps, though there were no lane lines, and it was was cut in half vertically for ease of lifeguarding, but it was completely underpopulated. My most empty pool of that day.

No stairs, handrails, or wheelchair lift, so if you rely on a mobility device, this is not the ideal place.
The pool is in full sun and the water is warm.
Warning – You cannot bring a bag or any personal belongings into the pool area. You need to leave them outside the pool gate, and there isn’t really a designated place.
Otherwise, a new modern playground and a genuine hidden (or at least not overused) jewel in this neighborhood.
