I thought I would be too busy taking Aqua Zumba tonight to actually review this pool, but the City has canceled all group fitness classes so that the pools can be open for free swim every day during the heat wave, which gives me time to shoot photos and write a review.
This has been my home pool for several years, where I take Aqua Zumba every opportunity I can. I did not realize that this pool was here when I moved to the neighborhood. If I had, I could have saved myself several aggravating attempts to use the Pickett Pool, and trips downtown to use the pools near my previous employment.
After reviewing lots of other pools, I’m really thankful to have this in my neighborhood.
Comfortable shower water, pool deck and pool temperature.
Men’s and women’s rooms inside the rec with toilet stalls for changing.
Stairs for entry to pool, and wheelchair lift works! There is a mascot doll on the lift that I though was a person during a recent visit when the pool was closed.

Aqua Zumba every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 7 (except during heat emergencies when it’s open swim all hours).
Note: Pleasant requests a $10 one-time season fee for Aqua Zumba classes, but also the classes almost always happen as scheduled (unlike at other playgrounds) and for that reason are hugely popular.
