This was my second pool visit today, which was the first day of my tour.
Waterloo Pool is hidden in the middle of a city block between rows of buildings on either side.
Some pools prevent bags from coming into the pool, and you just have to leave them outside. This pool actually had crates set up for your towels, etc., though the crates are not guarded and they are outside the pool area.
Water was warm in this sunny little pool. Maximum 5 feet deep, with lots of kids and a swank new playground next to the pool.
I don’t remember seeing a separate shallow/kids’ area or steps into the pool. It was a relatively small pool area, quite crowded with happy children during free swim, but I was welcomed to shower and jump in as a single adult. Sorry, on the first day I did not note what the changing areas or toilet facilities were.
