So it says it’s called Ziehler pool but Facebook wouldn’t initially let me tage this playground, athough I did find a sweet vintage photo from 1978 that I have included in the slideshow which is around the time I might have been in this neighborhood visitng a church friend named Julie who I barely remember now…
The pool is scheduled to be rebuilt in the near future, according to signage and the listing on the recreation website.
When they redo the pool hopefully they will keep the stairs and add a handrail. All other facilities look modern and functional, but no splash garden at least not for Summer 2024 so no relief from the heat here today! Next, I will double back to Cherashore playgroung where they have hopefully found another lifeguard so I can jump in.
